Knoll nets 57 points in two games, surpasses 7,500 milestone
Kerry Knoll, who plays in multiple Green Valley leagues, is our featured player this week. Knoll scored 57 points last week in two games out in Green Valley, putting his career point total to 7,540. He surpassed 7,500 career points after scoring 20 for the Hickory Huskers in the Green Valley rec league last Wednesday. Knoll is just the 13th player to ever score over 7,500 points in Ultimate Hoops history. Knoll is close to reaching another milestone as well. Milestones
Michael Franklin won two games in Minnesota last week, one in Bloomington South and one in Fridley, giving him 301 wins in his Ultimate Hoops career. Only 24 players have won over 300 games, and Franklin has done it in just 413 games, giving him a winning percentage of .728.
Harley Jeanty played in his 200th career game last week in a 70-60 win for the Thundercats over Unstuck. Jeanty won a national championship with the Thundercats in August.
Dan Orozco plays in five different leagues in Las Vegas, so it's a little hard to keep track of the exact game that he reaches a milestone. At some point last week, Orozco surpassed 1,507 career rebounds, all while helping run multiple leagues out in Vegas.
Devin Stensrude scored 18 points in a win for Run & Gun in Bloomington South last week. That put his career total up to 7,014, making him the 20th player to ever score over 7,000 points in Ultimate Hoops.
