Aaron Miller helps Late-Entry advance into the Baybrook semifinals
Ever since making his UH debut in Week 4 this season, Aaron Miller has been lighting up the Baybrook Draft League.
In the five games he’s played this season, he’s helped lead Late-Entry to a 3-2 record, including a 107-89 play-in game win over the Cougars last night. The win advances Late-Entry to the semifinals next week, where they’ll play the one-seed Over-The-Hill-Gang.
Miller was stellar in the win, going off for 37 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and three steals on 17-30 (57%) shooting from the field. The scoring numbers were pretty close to his season averages, as he’s scored 34.2 points per game this season on 57% shooting. His high-volume scoring and high efficiency have been common place this season, as his lowest scoring output was 25 points, and his worst shooting percentage was 47% (which came in the same game).
Last night’s win was earned by more than just Miller, however. Late-Entry had four different players score 13 points or more, with all of them shooting 46% or better from the field. The two players that didn’t score in the double digits had eight rebounds or more. This was a truly a team win for Late-Entry, who will now look to knock off the one-seed next week.
