Josh McCarver had the best single-game stat line in 2020

It’s the start of 2021 and at UHHQ we’re focused on relaunching our 60+ leagues when states allow. With the 92% of our leagues shut down last March, the statistical league data collected for 2020 was at its lowest levels since 2010.

However, there were a few gems when you sift through the 2020 box scores. The shiniest of the single-game performances belongs to Las Vegas’s Josh McCarver.

On January 22, 2020, almost a year ago, McCarver delivered a 4 vs 5 masterpiece in leading the undermanned Flight Vegas to a 132-87 rout over The Rudedogs. McCarrver finished with 24 points on 12-of-13 shooting, 26 rebounds, two assists and two steals.

McCarver’s teammate Cory Ford was just as impressive with 50 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. The only question that remains is who was the mystery ‘Free Agent’ on Flight Vegas who scored 26 points?
