New Pool Play Draft Format Introduced for National Tournaments

A new twist is coming to the National Tournaments.

On Monday, the league announced a new Pool Play Draft format for the National Tournaments, starting next month's Las Vegas 35 & Over National Tournament.

The committee has pulled names out of a hat in past tournaments to determine the seedings for the Day 1 Pool Play format. With the new changes, four captains are drawn, representing each of the four pools. The captains will participate in a "snake draft" to determine which teams they want to compete against in their respective pools.

The draft will be held on Friday night, the day before the tournament, on the pool deck (ironically) at Life Time - Green Valley, the tournament's host.
