Team Preview: Will Final Chaptr write a championship ending in Vegas?

How will the story end for Final Chaptr in Las Vegas?

by Chris Alford, Ultimate Hoops Atlanta League Coordinator

The last time we saw Final Chaptr, headed by team captain Emery Range was in the 2021 New York Ultimate Hoops National Tournament at the iconic Life Time - Sky club.

Final Chaptr finished second to Ball So Hard after Derrick Allen was thrown out due to a questionable whistle, but who wants to relive that again.

Atlanta is known for its versatility with wing players. John Millsap (6’6), Brandon Wheeless (6’4), and Justin Hall (6’6) always find their way to a basket.

The Final Chaptr frontline is led by Brock Shorter (6’7” 235lbs.) and Jazywn Cowan (6’8” 250 lbs.), who are double-double machines. The team’s glue guy is Eric “Tip” Weems, who does it all, and his motor never stops. A 5’10”, Weems is one one the best rebounding point guards in the nation, averaging nearly eight per game. Alaiquan Daugherty compliments Weems in the backcourt, bringing flair and pace to the Final Chaptr offense.

There you have it: you are officially warned, Las Vegas! Final Chaptr is ready to write your team’s ending dramatically this weekend.
