Josh Rollans gets unique triple-double and sets a new Green Valley Vet B record in the process
About 98% (totally legit stat that I did not just make up off the top of my head) of triple-doubles consist with a player recording at least 10 points, rebounds and assists.
Josh Rollans had a stat line of 20 points, 25 rebounds and four assists last night in a 76-49 win for Bhoudini in the Green Valley Vet B League. That’s very impressive if it was just a double-double, but he added 10 steals to secure a triple-double.
Not only did Rollans get an unorthodox triple-double, but he also set a new single-game Green Valley Vet B record with the 10 steals.
This was Rollans’ first game in the Vet B League this season, putting his season average at 10 steals per game. That’s 8.4 higher than his career average of 1.6 per game, which has added up to 540 in his career, good for 38th-highest in UH history.
That average won’t last all season, but it’s a hell of a start for Rollans and a new standard set for the rest of the Green Valley Vet B League.
