AUSTIN: Week 4 Power Rankings

1. Arsenal (3-0)

Arsenal continues to be the team we thought they were. Every week they just find ways to win. Led by Derrick Bunton this week with a team-high 19 points, they had four other players that scored in double figures. They don’t have to rely on one guy to carry them week in and week out. The championship train just keeps pushing.

2. Lifetime Elite (3-0)

Lifetime Elite is still playing great basketball. Josh Twine continues to be a force in his new role scoring 20 points and having a PPR of 26.5 last week. The only thing LE needs to watch out for is their decreasing 3-point percentage. They shot only 29 percent from 3 last week but still won. They will not beat the better teams shooting that way.

3. N.U.K. (2-1)

The N.U.K.s bounced back after losing to the Blaze as we knew that they would. Without Jordan Jahr in the line-up last week, Ignacio Garcia took over and led the team with 23 points and 15 rebounds. He finished with a PPR of 31.7. They are still in the running to get back to the championship.

4. The Blaze (2-1)

The Blaze have finally showed what having two bigs on the floor can do for your team. Ira Clark had 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Russell Permenter added 26 points and 7 rebounds. If their guards can improve their perimeter shooting, they will be dangerous in December.

5. Team Finesse (2-1)

Team Finesse suffered their first loss of the season, but there is one glaring stat stuck out to us. TF shot only 13 percent from 3, going 3-23 and lost by four points. Six players on the team went 0-20. If a few of these shots went to the basket, they would still be undefeated.

6. Professors (0-3)

They are now 0-3 for the first time in their history. Richard Ekeke tried to will the Professors to their first win with 31 points and a PPR of 30.8. They are looking like the Cavs without Lebron. To make matters worse, they have to play N.U.K.s next week.

7. Shots Fired (0-3)

Shots Fired just had some bad match-ups last week. They need a big to compete, but against the Blaze, they needed two. Wan Trice continues to score buckets and he also had help from Jordan Kpaka this week with 18 points.

8. Heat (0-3)

The Heat are still the same Heat. They play really hard, keep games close, but lose. Veteran Ken Clark has only played in one game this season, and Kevin Neal is on borrowed time trying to lead this team. He scored 24 points in their third loss of the season. Fortunately play a winless team next week, so hopefully this will be the turning point.
