The Championship matchup is set and man do we have plenty of to discuss about this game. We have the 2017 Winter League Champs King and Duck looking to be the 1st 2 time champion in the King of Prussia league. Former MVP Captain Marcus Gaskins the only remaining player from the Championship team added another former MVP in Anthony T. Bennett who’s won every award possible except the ultimate one the Championship Banner. Anthony has been dominating as usual this summer scoring 20 ppg and grabbing 14 rebs per game. But King and Duck’s success has been a team effort with guards Cody Pittman and Scott Masulis hitting big 3’s in the semi final game.

The Process who finished last in the regular season finally put it together and played team ball. Captain Mark Lepine predicted day one that his squad would be in the championship game told me to get the Banner Ready. Pulling off a major upset in the semi final round over the loaded Monstars this team is destined to win it all. Former MVP Peter Martignetti and point guard Donte McDaniel will need to play another solid game. Guard Mike Orenstein who hit the game winning 3 to send his team to the title game will have to hit those open shots consistently. The ultimate twist and story line is Andrew Carter the Big Man who was previously on King and Duck’s championship team now will compete against them to either win his 2nd Banner and play spoiler or will loyalty play a role here?? The Key matchup will be at the point guard spot and who can get their teammates involved more.
