Jack Ruhland thinks Jonathan Christenson's "success comes from always being on stacked teams"
Jack Ruhland has played in 125 UH games across multiple leagues. Rec in Bloomington South, Rec-Plus in Fridley, the Dream League at the Target Center and even the Open League in Plymouth back in 2015. Ruhland has played all over, putting up 5.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He’s known for being a glue guy on the court, and here’s your chance to learn about his life off the court.
What is the first pair of basketball shoes you ever bought?
Ruhland: My parents bought me Jordan's when I was first able to walk. The first pair I can remember buying myself were some Iverson's back in middle school.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Ruhland: Anger Management tour way back in the day with Snoop Dogg, Eminem and a bunch of other rappers.
Who is the most overrated player in Ultimate Hoops?
Ruhland: No matter who goes here they'll probably be butt hurt, but I gotta go with guys who i like to call 3-point specialists, so I'll go with Jonathan Christenson. Sorry bud, but I think a lot of your success comes from always being on stacked teams that lead to you being left open.
What is your favorite sports movie?
Ruhland: There's a lot of good one's out there, but probably have to go with Remember the Titans.

Ruhland: Probably going to Timberwolves games back in the KG days with my brother and Dad.

Ruhland: This is a tough one, I have no clue. Denzel is my favorite actor though, so that would be cool.
