Setting Woodstock Draft League records is becoming routine for Griffin Markwith

Griffin Markwith had a career-best performance in Woodstock last night, and it was the best scoring performance the Woodstock Draft League has ever seen.

Markwith scored a league-record (and career-high) 46 points in a 96-73 win for Markwith Marauders. He almost finished with a perfect game, as he only missed four of the 22 shots he attempted. He also shot 4-5 from beyond the arc and made all six free throws he attempted.

Not only was it an impressive scoring performance, but Markwith added 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Setting records in the Woodstock Draft League has become a regular occurrence for Markwith, as this is the third he’s broken in only six career games in the league. In his draft league debut, he recorded 23 rebounds and six blocks, both the most in draft league history.

There’s still one more game this regular season, plus playoffs, so maybe Markwith still has some records to break this season.
