Can Team Sky win a National Title on their home floor?
by Zakariya Mohamed, Team Sky GM
For the 1st time in Ultimate Hoops & Life Time Sky history, Team Sky from the NYC Ultimate Hoops League will represent their home at the New York City National Tournament.
Team Sky is a well-balanced team of New York City’s top talented individuals with the skills to compete, impeccable morals & values that distinguish them within the UH & L.T Sky community and have the heart & desire to win as an NYC Sky Hooper in their home court.
Led by the 2021 Fall MVP Matthew Thomas, who is excited to spearhead this enthusiastic squad and looking forward to the opportunity to compete against the elite Ultimate Hoops teams in the U.S.
They are many other NYC Sky League Champions & All-Stars on Team Sky: Andrew Avot, Andrew Holinski, Avery Huggins, and Chris Ramsey. This will be their first time competing on the National Tournament stage, but they are predicted to be the wild cards on the court.
The stage is set for them to be the tournament opener against Dallas’ Ultimate Oops following the reining champion Ball So Hard this Saturday.
Will they be able to take down the Top 2 cohesive teams in the tournament and set the tone across UH & Sky?
