As registration officially opens in the Boston region, it’s time to look ahead to opening week. What will be the big storylines heading into Fall Season?

Here are my tough questions for UH Boston going into the season.

1) Can Garrisson Duvivier keep up his pre-pandemic performance?

No one was playing better basketball prior to March’s shutdown than Duvivier. In five of his previous seven games, the 6’6” forward had a double-double, including a 25 point, 15 rebound masterpiece in week 7. For the season, Duvivier averaged 26.7 ppg and 11.6 rpg, improving his PPV by $5 million.

2) How long will it take Guy Pistone to score his 1,000 career point?

Pistone is just nine points shy of scoring his 1,000th career point. Will his teammates feed him the ball in the first-half of their opening game to get him the milestone?

3) Which single-game record in the Westwood Recreational Division will be broken first?

Record chasers are salivating at LaPlanche’s 12 assists and Delma’s 5 blocks single-game records in the Westwood Recreational League. Both record seem ripe for shattering next season.

4) Can Burlington’s Daniel Holbrook lead Made Men in every major statistical category?

It would require Holbrook raising his scoring average by seven points per game and taking more steals chances on the defensive end. Holbrook shot 71% from the field last season, so accuracy is not an issue.

Will his teammates sacrifice their games to help Holbrook achieve this rare accomplishment? Or will Holbrook’s quest for history drive a divide amongst his teammates?

5) Will Westwood’s Ruff Ryders go undefeated?

The Ruff Ryders were riding high before the season ended, winning eight straight games. The key to achieving an undefeated season will be retaining superstar Jimmie Melton, who was a top MVP candidate, finishing with $17 million PPV over his last 10 games.
