Hot Tub calls elite St. Baul team a “bunch a bums” then beats them
As a member of Fridley All-Stars in Summer Season 2010, Moore calls out their next week opponent St. Baul (5-1), calling them a “bunch of chumps.”
Seven days later, Moore and his Fridley All-Stars backed up their talk, defeating St. Baul 66-58 behind Ryan Smolarek’s 19 points and five rebounds.
“Class is in Session.” Hot Tub and the Celtics humiliate 18-year-old rookie phenom Toby Frisby and his Squirrels team by 54 points
The Squirrels Toby Frisby was a talented, brash, 18-year-old rookie in Spring Season 2010. Fresh off a 30-point, 13-rebound performance in Week 6, Frisby boldly declared he faced better competition in High School than the Ultimate Hoops League.
In Week 7, Frisby and Squirrels faced the Celtics and Moore made sure Frisby would learn his lesson. The Celtics humiliated the Squirrels 104-50 and held Frisby to nine points (4-10 from the field) and three rebounds.
In post-game interview, Moore made it clear, “class was in session” for the Frisby and young Squirrels franchise that night.
Moore channels “Macho Man” Randy Savage, calls out The Riddlers GM Nick Roell
In Winter Season 2010, the Celtics were once again a force in the league, led by superstars Marcus Marshall (league leading 23.7 ppg) and Johnny Webb (21.3 ppg). Moore never missed a chance to take a shot at his rival Nick Roell, GM of The Riddlers, another championship-winning franchise in UH Minnesota.
“We’re gonna win by 60.”
Sometimes you just needed to give Moore the mic and get out of his way.
