Shane Ellis' Heroics Boosts Justice League

1. Dat Ain’t Fair (4-0)
Coming into the fifth week of the season, DAF still remains the only undefeated team in the league. Last game there was some intense competition as the game went into double overtime against Y-Lie. Demarco Paige continues to play an impressive game while being one rebound short of a triple-double. But still being able to rack up 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. We’ll see is DAF can continue to strive for the rest of the season, or if one of the other teams will be able to break their winning streak.
2. Goblin Skillz (3-1)
Goblin Skillz showed complete domination last game as they defeated All or Nothing with a final score of 104-54. The team’s big man, Aston Sokolnicki made a dominate performance in the paint with 18 points and 20 rebounds. Also, Brandon Barrows continues to make a big offensive statement with 29 points, and 21 of those point from the 3-point line. With this offensively skilled team, we will see if they can continue their success for the rest of the season.
3. Justice League (2-2)
With one of the most heated games of the night, Justice league defeated Balkan Brother Brand with the final score of 64-65. Team member Shane Ellis made a legendary performance of 26 points and 8 rebounds, as well as a buzzer beater floater to the basket that won them the game.
4. All or Nothing (2-2)
After a tough loss against Goblin Skillz, All or Nothing looks to bounce back for future games. Jawuan Doggett continues to lead his team in scoring by racking up 17 points last game. We will see next game as they play the undefeated team, Dat Ain’t Fair.
5. Y-Lie (1-3)
After a devastating loss in double overtime last game, while Y-Lie were missing some effective players on their roster, they still put up a great and competitive fight the entire game. Team member Alex Dobiasz has strived this season offensively by racking up a double-double last game with 24 points and 12 rebounds. We will see next game if they will have more strength in their roster to help them gain a win.
6. Balkan Brother Brand (0-4)
As BBB continues to put up a fight every week, last game took a devastating turn as they lost to a buzzer beater against Justice League. The youngest player in our league, Alek Kume continues to be a dominant scorer by nearly averaging a double-double with 27.3 points and 9 rebounds.
