Here’s a look at the five hottest players in UH Nation from the past week, based on PPV.

1. Kerry Foderingham +12,553,021

Foderingham’s last two games have come 10 months apart in two different leagues, and in two different clubs in New Jersey. He played in a playoff game in Princeton in March, 2019, where he had 19 points and six rebounds. He followed that up with a dominant performance in Bridgewater to open the Winter 2020 season, scoring 34 points on 13-16 shooting from the field, and adding 18 rebounds (with seven of them coming on the offensive end) in an 89-85 win last Tuesday. The long layoff for Foderingham didn’t seem to bother him at all, and we’ll see if this dominance continues in Bridgewater this season.

2. Rodney Taylor Jr. +11,825,768

Taylor Jr. has a somewhat similar situation to Foderingham in that his last two games have come in different leagues, although Taylor Jr.’s games came from last season and this season, not 10 months apart. Taylor Jr. had a disappointing performance in a playoff game in the Alpharetta Draft League last season, but his Week 1 performance in the Atlanta Open League last week was the complete opposite. He put up 35/5/5 on 14-21 shooting from the field and 6-11 from deep to lead Sandy East to an easy 80-55 win over Sandy West.

3. Kerry Weldon +11,066,895

Weldon is a double-double machine, averaging 13.4 points and 13.7 rebounds in his career. He just missed a double-double in a playoff loss last season, putting up nine points and 13 rebounds, but his most recent game vaulted him up this list. He had 20 points and tied a Westwood record with 30 rebounds in a 87-65 win last Thursday in the Westwood Draft League.

4. Chase Skinkis +10,086,684

An easy way to get featured for a high PPV is to record triple-doubles, and Skinkis is two-for-two in that department in his past two games. He had 19/11/15 in the Summerlin All-Star Game, shooting 9-13 from the field. He turned up the scoring a bit last night playing in the Summerlin Draft League, as he had 25/13/10 on 11-15 shooting. That’s a two-game average of 22 points, 12 rebounds and 12.5 assists.

5. Da’Jon McKnight +9,675,628

McKnight’s last two games have both come for Minnesota Elite, and both have been played against FOB Five. He and Minnesota Elite lost to FOB Five in the Minnesota Rec-Plus semifinals last season, and McKnight struggled, scoring 15 points on 6-17 shooting. He, and Minnesota Elite, played much better last Thursday in the rematch, as McKnight had 27 points on 13-18 shooting, adding 11 rebounds in a 123-86 win for Minnesota Elite.
