Here’s a look at the five hottest players in UH Nation from the past week, based on PPV.

1. Kingsley Eke +17,074,638

Eke got a huge PPV boost last week after he scored a career-high 60 points, which is also a new single-game scoring record for the Austin Draft League. In two games in Austin this season, Eke has averaged 39 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 69% and 52% from deep.

2. Matt Thomas +14,418,583

Thomas had a good game in his winter season debut in Sky, putting up 33 points on 11-24 shooting, adding six rebounds. He followed that up with an even better game last week, as he had a triple-double of 31/15/10, adding five steals on the defensive end. He shot 10-15 from the field and 7-11 from deep in that game. This gives him two-game shooting splits of 54/50/92 so far this season.

3. Rich Smith +13,153,795

A couple double-doubles has Rich Smith among the hottest players in UH. His two games this season in the Mount Laurel Draft League have resulted in 44 points and 51 rebounds. He had 18 and 26 in Week 1 and 26 and 25 in Week 3, good for a season average of 22 points and 25.5 rebounds. To add to that, he’s shot 60% from the field this season, and his team, the Neighborhood, is 2-0 when Smith plays.

6. JR Rayford +12,078,725

The fourth (John Cox) and fifth (Dan Inglish) are in the same spot as last week, so we’ll move on to the players in sixth and seventh. Rayford gets onto this leaderboard for having two almost identical performances in his last two games. In the playoffs in the fall, Rayford had 24 points, 14 rebounds eight assists and four steals. He followed that up with 24 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and five steals in his winter season debut in the Charlotte Draft League.

7. George Abbitan +12,047,106

Abbitan’s last two games have been scoring masterpieces in the Green Valley Vet League. Two weeks ago, he scored 42 points on 17-26 shooting from the field and 7-11 from deep. He followed that up last week scoring 46 points on 17-24 shooting from the field and 12-18 from deep. That’s good for an average of 44 points on 68% shooting from the field and 65% from deep.
